Numerical Mathematics I
The course "Numerical Mathematics I" deals with basic numerical methods for interpolation, integration, least squares problems, eigenvalue problems and nonlinear root finding problems.
- Motivation for an e-examination:
- In order to solve the mentioned problems numerically, it is necessary to implement and test suitable algorithms. This is a core part of the course and should therefore also be tested in the exam. For more information see Kruse & Seifert, 2018.
