In order to provide a Hilbert space framework for infinite graphs, we need some tools. These tools are provided in Chapter 03 which we will focus on for this and the upcoming lecture. This week, on the one hand, we will review (unbounded) operators in Hilbert spaces. On the other hand, we will introduce one of the most powerful tools in Hilbert space theory, namely the celebrated spectral theorem for self-adjoint operators. We do not provide a proof of it, but rather look at various perspectives of it.

We kindly ask the team of Salerno to provide solutions to the exercises for this lecture.
