Dear Participants of ISem 23,

This lecture deals with several non-trivial applications of Picard's theorem. We start off with the equations describing poro-elastic media, elastic media invoking memory effects, delayed heat equations and variants thereof.

As usual we appreciate any new insights and thoughts as well as questions on the material posted on the discussion board.

We draw particular attention to the exercises section where we ask the reader to address the well-posedness of a class of integro-differential equations. We particularly ask the team from Darmstadt to provide solutions to the exercises for us to upload.
